Les Brasseurs du Nord, the Quebec microbrewery known for Boréale beers, was founded in 1987 by three enthusiasts who wanted to create an original, pure malt and all-natural beer. A year later, Quebec's first rousse, La Boréale Rousse, was launched.
Since then, the microbrewery has supported the local brewing industry, encouraged the creation of new products and brewed beers according to the best artisanal and environmental practices.
